Introduction to the Organization:

District Micro-Entrepreneur's Group Association(D-MEGA) emerged as an umbrella organization of entrepreneurs and non- governmental organization (NGO) established in 2011 with the mission to empower entrepreneurs specially woman, dalit, janjati, youth and disadvantaged people and their organizations to achieve sustainable and equitable development. It was established with the aim of address the problems and issues of entrepreneurs producing skillful human resource for the lively hood and development of the Rolpa especially in the rural and selected communities. The institution believes in poverty reduction through micro enterprise, social mobilization. Thus, the organization runs various entrepreneurship training and various short term and long term trainings such as skill, scale up training, proper technology support, leadership and facilitation skills, gender and social inclusion.



Establishment

As a common platform of emerging youth development activists in the grass-roots of Nepal District micro entrepreneur group association (DMEGA is established in 2011 (2067 BS) and registeredwith the concerned government authority in Rolpa district in DAO. To work in Micro Enterprise Development sector DMEGA has primarily selected the Rolpa, which is one of the remote and socio-culturally highly vulnerable districts of Nepal . The economic set-back of the district also requires an effective NGO intervention.

Goal & Objectives

"Reduce poverty through micro enterprise sector using local resources and proper technology in wide market.Provide opportunities through trainings focusing on economically and socially deprived groups as well as people from remote areas"
